Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to this Journar will go through a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of the work published.

1. Initial Screening

Upon submission, each manuscript is first evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief to determine:

  • Whether the manuscript fits the focus and scope of the journal,

  • Whether it meets basic quality standards,

  • Whether there are major methodological flaws, and

  • Whether the similarity index (checked using Turnitin) is within acceptable limits (generally below 25%).

Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria will be rejected without further review.

2. Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be assigned to at least two independent reviewers using a double-blind peer review process, where both the reviewer and author identities are kept confidential.

Reviewers will evaluate the manuscript based on:

  • Originality

  • Theoretical and practical significance

  • Methodological soundness

  • Clarity of presentation

  • Relevance to the field of early childhood education

3. Review Decision

Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial team will make one of the following decisions:

  • Reject
The manuscript is not suitable for publication, and resubmission is not permitted.

  • Resubmit for Review
The manuscript requires substantial revision before it can be reconsidered. A second round of review will be conducted after resubmission.

  • Accept with Revisions
The manuscript is conditionally accepted, subject to minor or major revisions. The revised manuscript will be reviewed by the editor (and possibly reviewers) to ensure all issues have been adequately addressed.

  • Accept
The manuscript is accepted in its current form with no further modifications required.

4. Final Decision and Editorial Board Evaluation

The final decision is made during the Editorial Board meeting, taking into account:

  • Reviewer feedback

  • Author responses

  • Scientific merit and relevance

The decision will then be communicated to the corresponding author by the editor.

5. Timeline

The review process typically takes 4 to 12 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the responsiveness of authors to revision requests.
