Author Guidelines

General Author Guidelines

  1. Manuscripts should be written in Indonesian or English, are original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The content must be free from plagiarism in any form.

  2. Authors are required to register before submitting their manuscript. A detailed guide for registration and submission is available at the bottom of this page.

  3. All manuscripts submitted to Edutecno will undergo a double-blind peer review process. Only manuscripts that pass the review process and meet the editorial standards will be published.

  4. Manuscripts must be prepared according to the following Author Guidelines and using the provided Manuscript Template.


Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

Structure of the Manuscript

  1. Title

    • The title should be clear, concise, and informative, with a maximum of 15 words.

    • Avoid uncommon abbreviations and ensure the title reflects the core focus of the paper.

  2. Author’s Names and Affiliations

    • List full names of all authors (without academic or job titles).

    • Include institutional affiliations, institution addresses, and email addresses.

    • The corresponding author should be clearly indicated.

  3. Abstract

    • Abstract must be written in both Indonesian and English.

    • It should be structured in one paragraph (300–500 words) including:

      • Background

      • Objectives

      • Program Methods

      • Results

      • Conclusions

    • Include 3–5 keywords or phrases that best describe the subject matter.

  4. Introduction

    • Provide a general background, state of the art, main issues/problems, and rationale for the study or program.

    • End the section by clearly stating the purpose of the manuscript.

  5. Program Method

    • Describe the methodology, including program design, implementation steps, tools or instruments used, and criteria for assessing effectiveness or outcomes.

    • The explanation should be sufficiently detailed for replication purposes.

  6. Results and Discussion

    • Present the outcomes of the program or study in a logical and clear manner.

    • Provide critical discussion, interpret findings, compare with relevant literature, and explain implications.

  7. Conclusions and Recommendations

    • The conclusion should answer the objectives stated in the introduction.

    • Avoid repeating abstract or results.

    • Provide recommendations for future programs or research.

  8. References

    • Only include references cited in the manuscript.

    • At least 80% of sources should be journal articles, proceedings, or research reports from the last 5 years.

    • Use APA (American Psychological Association) 7th edition referencing style.

    • References should be arranged alphabetically.

    • Use reference management tools such as EndNote, Mendeley, or Zotero.

    • In-text citation format:

      • Single author: (Smith, 2020)

      • Two authors: (Smith & Jones, 2020)

      • More than two authors: (Smith et al., 2020)

      • Same author, same year: (Smith, 2020a; Smith, 2020b)


Submission Process

  • Authors must submit manuscripts through the online submission system provided on the journal’s website.

  • Manuscripts should follow the journal template strictly. Non-conforming submissions may be returned for revision before peer review.
