Peningkatan Literasi Gizi Siswa SMP 3 Campalagian melalui Edukasi Gizi Seimbang Berbasis Isi Piringku

Abstract

Literasi gizi merupakan kemampuan siswa memperoleh, memahami, menilai, dan menerapkan informasi gizi dalam pemilihan makanan sehari-hari. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi gizi siswa SMP 3 Campalagian melalui edukasi gizi seimbang berbasis Isi Piringku. Metode kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif melalui observasi awal, pretest, penyuluhan interaktif, diskusi kelompok, simulasi penyusunan menu seimbang, praktik membaca label pangan, posttest, dan refleksi. Materi mencakup empat pilar gizi seimbang, komposisi Isi Piringku, pentingnya sarapan, konsumsi sayur dan buah, pembatasan gula, garam, dan lemak, serta pemilihan jajanan sehat. Hasil kegiatan secara deskriptif menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai makanan seimbang, fungsi zat gizi, jajanan sehat, dan label pangan. Siswa juga aktif bertanya, berdiskusi, dan menyusun contoh menu sehat berbasis pangan lokal. Edukasi gizi berbasis sekolah perlu dilaksanakan berkelanjutan melalui kolaborasi guru, orang tua, kantin sekolah, dan tenaga kesehatan.
