Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to HealthSense: Journal of Public Health Perspective undergo a rigorous and transparent peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific contribution of published articles.
Initial Editorial Screening
Upon submission, manuscripts are first evaluated by the editorial team to assess:

Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s standards or fall outside the journal scope may be rejected without external review.

Manuscripts passing the initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers using a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed.
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:
-
Scientific quality and methodological rigor;
-
Relevance and significance to public health;
-
Clarity of presentation and organization;
-
Validity of data analysis and interpretation;
-
Originality and contribution to knowledge.
Review Decisions

-
Accept Submission;
-
Minor Revisions Required;
-
Major Revisions Required;
-

-
Reject Submission.
Authors receiving revision requests are expected to submit a revised manuscript along with a response to reviewers within the specified timeframe.

The Editor-in-Chief or assigned editor makes the final publication decision based on reviewer comments, editorial evaluation, and the manuscript’s overall quality and suitability for the journal.
Publication Ethics
The journal is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics and follows principles of fairness, confidentiality, objectivity, and academic integrity throughout the review process.
Review Timeline
The journal aims to provide an initial editorial decision within 2–6 weeks after submission, depending on reviewer availability and the complexity of the manuscript.
