Guidelines for Authors

Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions must align with the focus and scope of HealthSense: Journal of Public Health Perspective and contribute to the advancement of public health knowledge, practice, policy, or innovation.

Manuscript Types

The journal accepts the following categories of manuscripts:

  • Original Research Articles

  • Review Articles

  • Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses

  • Short Communications

  • Case Studies

  • Conceptual or Policy Papers

General Requirements

Authors should ensure that submitted manuscripts:

  • Are written in clear and academic English;

  • Follow ethical research and publication standards;

  • Present original and scientifically sound work;

  • Include sufficient methodological detail and appropriate references;

  • Use recent and relevant scholarly literature;

  • Conform to the journal template and formatting requirements.

Manuscript Structure

Research articles should generally contain:

  1. Title

  2. Author(s) and Affiliation(s)

  3. Abstract and Keywords

  4. Introduction

  5. Methods

  6. Results

  7. Discussion

  8. Conclusion

  9. Acknowledgments (optional)

  10. Conflict of Interest Statement

  11. References

Formatting Guidelines

  • Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).

  • Use standard academic formatting with consistent headings and citations.

  • References should follow the journal’s selected citation style.

  • Tables and figures must be clearly labeled and cited within the text.

Ethical Considerations

Studies involving human participants must include:

  • Ethical approval from an appropriate ethics committee, when applicable;

  • Informed consent procedures;

  • Compliance with relevant ethical standards and regulations.

Authors are responsible for ensuring research integrity, avoiding plagiarism, and properly acknowledging all sources.

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer review process. The editorial board reserves the right to reject manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s standards, scope, or ethical requirements.

Open Access Policy

HealthSense: Journal of Public Health Perspective provides immediate open access to its content to support the global exchange of knowledge in public health and related interdisciplinary fields.

Submission
