Abstract

This study focuses on efforts to improve work professionalism for employees at the Arif/Adinda Store located in Makroman. Professionalism is a crucial factor in supporting service quality, operational effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation to obtain a direct picture of the working conditions and professional behavior of employees. The results indicate that improving professionalism can be achieved through technical skills training relevant to job requirements, establishing consistent discipline and work ethics, and providing motivation that can encourage employees to work optimally. In addition, regular performance evaluations are also needed to assess progress and help employees understand areas for improvement. Other factors that contribute are good communication between the owner and employees, as well as the implementation of a supportive leadership style. A positive work environment has been shown to help create a professional work culture and improve service quality at the store.
