Low student learning motivation is one of the major problems affecting the success of the learning process in schools. This study aimed to determine the effect of implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by games on students’ learning motivation at SMK Muhammadiyah Kalosi. This research employed a quantitative approach using a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 30 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality tests, Paired Sample t-test, and N-Gain analysis. The results showed that the average students’ learning motivation score increased from 64.83 in the pretest to 84.27 in the posttest, with an improvement of 19.44 points. The result of the Paired Sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. In addition, the N-Gain result of 0.55 was categorized as moderate, indicating that the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by games was sufficiently effective in improving students’ learning motivation. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by games can improve students’ learning motivation and create a more active, engaging, and enjoyable learning environment.
