Abstract

Student mental health is a crucial issue in higher education, particularly due to increasing academic, social, and economic pressures. Effective mental health data management requires a management information system (MIS) capable of integrating survey results and data analysis to support campus decisions. A research gap lies in the lack of a structured system planning model for monitoring and managing student mental health data. This systematic literature review was conducted to identify trends, approaches, and challenges in developing a mental health information system for students. The SLR methodology included a search of scholarly articles from reputable databases, culminating in a thematic synthesis of relevant primary studies. The results indicate that integrating digital survey methods with machine learning-based data analysis can improve early detection of mental health risks. Furthermore, a web-based system and analytical dashboard facilitate the visualization and follow-up of psychological interventions. Key challenges lie in the validity of the survey data and privacy protection. This study concludes that a management information system based on survey data and analysis is a strategic step in planning sustainable student mental health services.
