Analisis Ayat Mahar dan Kontekstualisasinya dalam Perspektif Sosial-Budaya Indonesia

Abstract

This article comprehensively examines dowry verses from normative and practical perspectives and examines their contextualization in Indonesian society today. This study uses normative and qualitative text analysis methods with a focus on primary publications from the last decade. The purpose of the study is to gain an in-depth understanding of the scope, significance, and dynamics of the implementation of dowry verses in socio-cultural practices, as well as its implications for the development of contemporary dowry theory. The results show that dowry verses, which are rooted in religious traditions and values, have undergone a process of reinterpretation to adapt to the development of social and cultural conditions in Indonesia. These findings emphasize the need for a critical and reflective approach in formulating dowry policies that are responsive to normativity and social welfare. This article makes an important contribution to the research of the sociology of religion and culture through empirical and normative discussions that relate classical teachings to contemporary contexts, so that they can be used as a reference for researchers and practitioners in the field of Islamic and cultural studies in Indonesia.
