Abstract

This community service activity aimed to strengthen the competencies of young generations and business actors in building business relationships through the REACH effective communication approach (Respect, Empathy, Audible, Clarity, and Humble). The activity was conducted in the form of a webinar through the QuBisa Goes To Campus X Universitas Widya Mandira Kupang program with the theme “How to Build Relationships for Running a Business”. The implementation methods included lectures, interactive discussions, experience sharing, and simple case studies. The materials focused on the importance of business relationships, communication challenges in the digital era, and the implementation of effective communication in building networking and professional relationships. The results showed that participants experienced increased understanding regarding the importance of interpersonal communication and business relations in business development and professional careers. Participants also demonstrated high enthusiasm during the activity, especially in discussion and question-and-answer sessions. The REACH communication approach was considered capable of helping participants understand professional communication strategies in a simpler, more practical, and relevant way according to current business needs. This activity had a positive impact on improving participants’ communication competencies, self-confidence, and networking skills in building more effective and sustainable professional relationships.
